SHIPPING AND RETURN POLICIES
The Boat Tec shipping and return policies appear below.  All shopping and use of our site is governed by our Terms of Use, which you should review.

SHIPPING
Continental United States Orders:

• Orders will be shipped and confirmed after the payment method is processed. Boat Tec verifies all credit cards before shipping – please be aware that should a card issue arise, delivery may be delayed.
• Most orders placed before 12pm Eastern Time Monday thru Friday will be processed, shipped and confirmed the same day. 
• Orders placed after 12pm Eastern Standard Time Monday thru Friday, may not be processed and confirmed until the following business day.  Orders placed after 12pm on Friday will be processed and confirmed on the following Monday.  Holidays, Saturdays and Sundays are not business days.  Boat Tec observes all US federal holidays.
• Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed, shipped and confirmed on Monday.  Orders placed on a holiday will be processed, shipped and confirmed the next business day.
• Order acknowledgment, confirmation of product availability, and shipping tracking information will be provided to you after your order is processed.
• Large, Oversized, Multi-boxed items may incur additional shipping charges.  You will be notified of additional shipping charges prior to final processing and shipping and have an opportunity to cancel or change your order if you are not satisfied with any additional charges.
• Orders are shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS.  A physical address is required for shipment.  We gladly ship to P.O. Boxes.

 Expected Delivery Dates:
All dates are estimates and may vary. 

• Standard Ground: 3-7 business days after order processing
• 2-3 Day Express: 2-3 Business days after order processing: 2-3 Day Express delivery dates do not have guaranteed delivery times and signatures are required on delivery in most areas.  Customers may want to use a business shipping address to ensure that someone will be available to sign for the package.  Transit days for ground shipments and 2-3-Day Express are business days and do not include weekends or holidays.

 Additional Shipping and Handling Charges and Insurance:

• Oversized items may incur an additional shipping and/or  handling charge – should this occur, those charges will be stated on the product page and will be added once the item is placed in your shopping cart.
• Once your item(s) is in the shopping cart, all associated shipping and handling charges will be displayed.  Once you check out, you will not see further shipping or handling charges.

 Please Note The Following:

• We do ship internationally by request – and credit card charges are subject to a 7-10 day waiting period prior to shipments being processed. Payments must clear banking and be approved through Merchant Services prior to us releasing international orders for shipment.
• Florida Residents will be charged the 6% applicable sales tax on orders. 
• All prices are quoted and all payments must be made in US$.
• Oversized items are shipped Standard Ground – Boat Tec will take special shipping requests, however.
• Your order will leave Boat Tec in NEW condition and risk of loss passes to you when we deliver your package to the shipper.  If your order is damaged in shipment, please contact the shipper immediately to make a claim.

RETURNS
Items in original, unused condition, including all packaging and accessories, may be returned within 30 days of purchase. All returns are subject to our verification of purchase from Boat-Tec.com. 

 The following items are subject to a 20% restocking fee:

• Open boxes – damaged boxes
• Items costing over $100

 Boat Tec cannot accept returns of the following items:

• Special Orders
• Items with Expiration Dates
• Items Registered to the User
• Electronic Charts
• Items which have been damaged due to improper installation or operation
• Items that show signs of wear

Customers returning products are responsible for paying and shipping and insurance – if items are not insured Boat Tec will not be held responsible for issuing a refund due to damage incurred during shipping.

Your refund will generally be in the same form as the original purchase within 5 days of the return reaching our warehouse.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
Boat-Tec attempts to be as accurate as possible.  However, Boat-Tec Company does not warrant that product descriptions or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free.  If a product offered by Boat-Tec itself is not as described, the sole remedy of the customer is to return it in unused condition with original packaging and tags for a refund.
